- Finchley Manor Scalextric Club started development in September 2007.
- Most of the new club members that have helped with development of the new club are from the former New Tottenham Raceway Club.
- There have been between four and ten of us working on this project one night a week up until now.
- When we first arrived to the club there were a whole host of issues that had to be addressed.
- Such as
- Three leaks in the roof.
- Three of the doors were missing.
- Track design.
- The staircase to the balcony area blocked access to where the track was going to be built.
- A small room under the balcony area blocked space for where the track was to be built.
- Track soldering and wiring.
